Cribs for Kids®

Cribs for Kids is a national program created by SIDS of Pennsylvania. Since 1998, Cribs for Kids has impacted the rates of babies dying of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and accidental suffocation. A safe-sleep environment has been identified as a key factor in reducing the rates of infant death. A baby who sleeps in an unsafe sleep environments, including an adult bed, is 40 times more likely to die.

Cribs for Kids® is a safe-sleep education program for low-income moms to help reduce the risk of injury and death of infants due to unsafe sleep environments. The program provides a Graco Pack N Play® Crib and educational materials regarding ‘safe sleep’ and tips to protect their baby.

AAI is a distribution and training center for this program. AAI, Cribs for Kids (R) and the Mother Teresa Endowment Fund of the Catholic Community Foundation of Mid-Michigan collaborate to provide this program. Since 2009, AAI distributed 385 cribs through this program.

Knights of Columbus Ultrasound Program

Through a partnership with the Saginaw Diocesan Knights of Columbus Counsels, we are able to provide ultrasounds to abortion-minded and abortion-vulnerable women, helping them to recognize the miracle of new life within them.

Rachel's Vineyard Ministries

Rachel’s Vineyard Retreat helps to rebuild hearts that have been broken by abortion. During the weekend retreat women and men experience a supportive, non-judgmental environment, which promotes healing and helps them find hope for the future.
